In case you are not familiar with a lungi, it is a tied cloth sheet that men typically wear in parts of South and Southeast Asia similar to a sarong. In Bangladesh, where my father is from, the sheet is sown up into a tubular shape, which you step into and tie around the waist. I had the privelage to visit a lungi loom in my home village of Enayetpur, Bangladesh where they utilize machine looms now. But these lungis are beautiful!
